Greece: Corfu

I was so excited to see my first Greek Island.  Greece has been my dream vacation since college; I have been obsessed for an unknown reason.  Sadly, Corfu didn’t fulfill the dream (and it didn’t even feel like an island).  The town was quaint–filled with shops selling magnets, weird Greek sculptures and paintings dominated by penis.

We spent a few hours walking through the streets, past the old fort and back past the Church of St. Spyridon before doing what everyone else was interested in: checking the internet ($1/minute on the boat is TOO expensive).  Joshua needed to know if UCLA football/basketball won and the answer, lately, has been yes!  Go Bruins!
